Case Study: Online, Print & Outdoor Campaign
La Torretta Del Lago, Lake Conroe, TX
After a two-year, $130-million ground-up renovation and expansion of the former Lake Resort in Lake Conroe, Texas, now know as La Torretta Del Lago, French Quarter Hospitality turned to Newton Design & Marketing to develop an Awareness Campaign to help generate buzz and increase room sales and conference reservations.
Newton teamed up with the marketing and sales team to research and develop a strategy to launch the newly branded resort and generate awareness not only locally, but statewide and nationwide.
Newton developed an eye-catching campaign that was very well received. This campaign was used in various media including print, radio, outdoor and direct mail. In addition, it was converted into in-house promotions and signage to continue the message and brand through to the visitors experience. The campaign was very well received and the resort generated quite a buzz in several hospitality and meeting publications, in addition to international coverage in the UK. In the end the overall success of the first year of the resort and the awareness campaign inspired the acquisition of the resort to the Nobel House Hotels and Resorts portfolio, the first Texas property for the Washington-based hospitality development company.
Additionally, the awareness campaign was the recipient of several awards including ADDY, SIAA (Service Industry Advertising Awards) and Communicator Awards.
